Another Sci-fi Eye Drawing

Started work on this on Monday.  I started a little while after I got home from work and didn't even realize how much effort I was putting into it until I looked up and it was 10:45pm already. Finished it up tonight and it's brought to my attention that it's been entirely too long since I've really sat down and drawn. My hand was cramping, my butt hurt, you know how it is when deep concentration sneaks up on you. <3

I'd be willing to make it into a wallpaper if anyone is interested. Just let me know the size and I'll see if I can work it out for you.

Buffalo Daydreams

A friend DEMANDED that I draw him a buffalo (I didn't have the benefit of reference). This is the ridiculous result...

Game of Thrones and Self Portrait Sketches

Here's some more new stuff, I'm reading A Song of Ice and Fire series right now and it's been pretty inspiring in my motivation to draw. The first drawing is sort of based on Daenerys Targaryen, a character from the book series (and it's NSFW: boob) and the second drawing is a self portrait.

Lions and Trees and Ladies, Oh My

Been awhile since I've added anything new, so here are some sketches I've done lately. One is NSFW, although I suppose if your boss sees it you could always pull the "But it's art!" line.

Carnival Creature

And the drawing spree continues! I might paint tonight if my workout doesn't drain me too much :)

Hands of a Creator

I've been doing a lot of sketching the past couple days and here is some of the stuff that I've actually liked :)This ^ is supposed to be Fargo from Eureka (I just finished the 3rd season).

The Future of Retro

Yesterday, in between pizza consumption and wild outbursts of uncontrollable laughter, I drew this in the two-person-breakout of Studio Sunday that happened in #42 while the main Robots were off in California for APE, otherwise known as The Alternative Press Expo. Note: Run on sentences FTW.

Landscape Silhouette Sketch

Don't really remember when I drew this, it was last week sometime... I'm working on my first wallpaper, I've been playing around with textures and color with some drawing/vector designs. Assuming this goes well you should see something up here soon.

No Bake Strawberry Creme Pie and the Side of a Mountain

This is what I made this weekend. No-bake Strawberry Creme Pie, and let me just say, it was as delicious as it looks. You can find the recipe here: http://noblepig.com/2010/07/26/nobake-strawberry-cream-pie.aspx

I made this over the weekend too but it didn't taste as good :)

The Dress That Technology Built

There's a lot of really awesome looking stuff (clothes, buildings, technology, etc.) in Æon Flux, so sometimes I put it on to try to get myself inspired. Here are the recent results.

Also flipping through a Spectrum is fantastic for inspiration, I was doing some of that too.

Sick Sense of Humor Self Portrait

I think most of the people who look at this blog are friends with me on Facebook and therefore probably already saw this the other day. But in case you missed it-this was me hanging myself in drawn form to relieve stress at work last week.

City Roots

Sometimes when I feel like drawing I pull out my sketchbook and just end up staring at a blank sheet of paper with no idea what to draw. Today was not one of those days, today the pencil practically drew for me :D

Where Shadows Lie

This (and probably several of the next sketches I do) was inspired by The Lord of the Rings Sketchbook that I got recently. Love that book.
