Sometimes when I feel like drawing I pull out my sketchbook and just end up staring at a blank sheet of paper with no idea what to draw. Today was not one of those days, today the pencil practically drew for me :D

Since I'm obsessed with Avatar right now, I took what spare time I had yesterday to change myself into one of the Na'vi.

Creature

This started as another sketch of Lando (see the post before this one), but I only got his face done before he just HAD to move, so I spent part of my lunch hour turning it into this creature instead :)

Unsuspecting Subjects

Sketch dump! The feline above (Lando Catrissian) is one of the many cat mascots of Studio Sunday. Last night he was enjoying our company from his perch of random stuffs in the studio. Below are two more people I drew in restaurants. And some random animal-ish things.

Road Trip Sketches: Hands, Trees, Trucks, Mirrors

I was in Minneapolis this weekend, but the drive there and back is hella long, and even though some of the roads were really bumpy, the sketching process prevailed! Someday, I promise, I'll have color on this page again...

 

I took off work on Friday and had a totally awesome day. Thursday night I spent time working on one of my book ideas, and painting for the first time in a long time-while hanging out with Studio Sunday's crew. Then Friday (after seeing Kung Fu Panda for the time-also awesome) the day was so perfect that we went and hung out at the beach for a few hours.
I didn't scan what I worked on Thursday night, but these are a few more tattoo ideas-I think I've decided the tattoo I'm going to get but I don't want to put it up anywhere so that I can be the only one who has it :D
